About Us

We completed many farm animal, veterinary surgical, and avian studies for major animal health and agrochemical companies, consultants, and governmental agencies for over 40 years. Most of these studies followed FDA/EPA/OECD guidelines. Besides standard test species (poultry, dairy goats and dairy cows) we also are experienced in testing domestic swine, chickens (broilers), calves, horses, beef cattle, sheep, bobwhite and Japanese quail, mallard ducks. Therefore, GML has profound experience in design/conduct of your research projects.

GML is located on approximately 10-acres rural site in central Wisconsin (Clark County) with easy access to high-quality test farm-animals. Our research facilities consist of nine buildings including a 5,000 ft² laboratory/office facility, five 1,320 ft² research barns, over 8,000 ft² of environmentally controlled, multipurpose animal rooms for conducting avian tox studies, fish-metabolism, crustacean and humidome studies, 3,200-ft² cow barn able to accommodate up to 40 cows with over 5,330 ft² of corral area and 5 acres for outdoor pasture/pens.

All projects conducted at Genesis Midwest Laboratories are conducted in full compliance with applicable Good Laboratory Practice Guidelines – EPA or FDA. Client visits are encouraged prior to, during, or after project completion to provide confidence that the research results will be acceptable to the appropriate regulatory agency. All study files, including internal GLP audits, are available to the sponsor. At the same time, every effort is made to maintain project confidentiality.
